Welcome to the Wetaskiwin Spirit Cup!
Thanks for joining us for the 7th Annual Spirit Cup this Father's Day weekend: June 13-16, 2024! The Spirit Cup is a community-level tournament accepting house league teams that are eligible for Tier 4 Provincials. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games. Spirit Cup will be awarded to the top team in each competing category. (Spirit Cup will remain in the WSC Awards case with personalized plaque including the winning team’s name and year.) Individual Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented to each player in the top three teams in each competing category.
Tier 4-9 Competing Categories:
- U9 Girls- 6v6 $300
- U9 Boys/Co-ed – 6v6 $300
- U11 Girls – 8v8 $500
- U11 Boys/Co-ed – 8v8 $500
- U13 Boys/Co-ed – 11v11 $600
- U13 Girl-11 v11 $600
- U15 Boys/Co-ed – 11v11 $600
- U15 Girls-11v11 $600
- U17 Boys/Co-Ed 11v11 $600
- U17 Girls 11v11 $600
NOTE: Teams are not considered registered until online registration has been completed and payment & roster have been received. Registrants are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Late registrants may be accepted only if necessary to form a pool. If we are not able to form a pool from the registered teams, teams will be notified at least 2 weeks prior to event date. Out of district teams will not be scheduled until Friday evening. No refunds will be given to teams that drop out or do not show up. All games scheduled involving teams that drop out or do not show up shall be considered as a forfeit result.
Skill Centre Festival
In conjunction with the tournament portion of the Wetaskiwin Spirit Cup, we will also be hosting a Skill Centre Festival for players and teams in the following categories:
- U4 Mixed
- U5 Mixed
- U6 Girls
- U6 Boys/Mixed
- U7 Girls
- U7 Boys/Mixed
- U8 Girls
- U8 Boys/Mixed
